Like the title says I'm having an issue with the root bones being names root_xxx where xxx seem to be random numbers (different for every animation in batch). Tried importing many different ways but always got the same results.

This breaks the UE5 (guessing ue4 too) import completely because all root names are named different.

Any idea on what might be causing this?

I don't know what version of blender you are using, I exported in Blender 3.5 to UE5 and the animation was wobbly, but I imported in 3.3 without the above problems. You can try re-importing and exporting with blender 3.3

Can confirm wrong names with Blender 3.4+. Retried with 3.3 protable and root name is correct.

Can you please provide me with exact steps to reproduce the error, so i can test it.
How exactly did you obtain your file from Mixamo, which settings did you use in MixamoConverter, and what was the outcome that you did expect otherwise (i guess i already know: "root bone is named root_060" instead or "root", but please add it exactly anyways,
