As the stage stack requested imposes full order on the partial order implied by processing graph, a graph is implied by multiple stacks. To avoid redundant computation, the effective stack directory should be normalized.

  • remove all elements from stack not required for stage
  • sort the graph

Should also take care of default stage parameters
