I've been using your starter kit for years now (it was so compelling it made me finally move off the .emacs I'd been carrying around for two decades!), so thanks for that, much appreciation.
But one thing I've had trouble with: how do you upgrade org-mode itself? As people will quickly tell you when you ask about weird Org issues (e.g., here):
When installing from ELPA, please do so from a fresh Emacs session where no org function has been called.
I've worked around this various ways over the years (and in so doing, in my own fork may have lost a fix you've introduced) but invariably I forget and upgrade org-mode via MELPA during a normal starter-kit-initialized session and have issues again and have to back out and try again (sometimes not having noticed for weeks because the thing that .
Do you have a solution to this? Appreciate any pointers.
