Answers checklist.

  • I have read the Rainmaker documentation and the issue is not addressed there.
  • I have updated my IDF branch (release/vX.Y) to the latest version and checked that the issue is present there. This is not applicable if you are using Rainmaker with Arduino.
  • I have searched the Rainmaker forum and issue tracker for a similar issue and not found a similar issue.

General issue report

I saw this problem in this forum but with no resolution.
I configure a dimmer ( with the example provided) with esp rainmaker and can see the device in the app , but when connecting to google home I got the error:
" no compatible device were found in your ESP rainmaker account"....
I check my only account with esp rainmaker, and try at different time with no success.
Any help ?
thks

Dimmer is not a standard device type supported in ESP RainMaker. You can see the complete list here. Also, Dimmer is not part of Google's list of supported devices either.
