The matter_switch README has a reference to the README in its parent folder. There, under the [Commissioning]
(https://github.com/espressif/esp-rainmaker/blob/master/examples/matter/README.md#commissioning) section, you will find a note about QR code. Use that to scan from the ESP RainMaker phone app.
