The input field length on the prompt for entering the ip numbers during node registration is too short. It would not let me enter the ip number for the fourth node controller I was trying to enter. Each ip address can be 16 characters (xxx.xxx.xxx). I think the fix is to change the value from 50 to 256 on line 130 in anaconda-updates/6/scripts/eucalyptus-firstboot-nodereg.py.
