"NoSleep" sound playing

Hi, I couldn't sign in on your Gitea page so hopefully it's fine to make an issue here.

Thank you for this PWA it's very neat. I set up the PWA using the docker image on a server, works fine. When reading, there seems to be a constant audio stream called NoSleep - on iPhone this interrupts music, quite annoying, is there another way to serve whatever function it's serving?

I'm also curious if there could be a way to integrate the sync into a native app on iOS, for page turn animations etc. Do you think it would be possible?

Hey @nben - Yes, this is the right place to post issues. Thank you for your report!

Unfortunately there is a bug in iOS where the appropriate way to prevent the screen from falling asleep doesn't work.

What you're seeing is a hack to keep the screen awake while you're reading.

Nonetheless, let me see if there's some way I can get it to stop interrupting anything that's currently playing.
