The most comprehensive open data index of Turkey. This repository lists open data portals made public by municipal governments and the government of Turkey.
Turkey definitely needs some improvement on transparency. As developers and citizens, we often have a hard time finding decent data about our country. I listed the resources I could find to make this already difficult process a little easier. Please contribute to this list.
If you are a citizen, please encourage state and municipal organizations to publish data that should be ours.

- TurkStat Data Portal (by Turkish Statistical Institute, a.k.a. TÜİK). TÜİK publishes state-collected data on many subjects. Machine-readable exports can be obtained.
- TurkStat Geographical Statistics Portal (by Turkish Statistical Institute, a.k.a. TÜİK). A website that visualizes TÜİK's data on the Turkish map.
- Currency exchange rates (by the Central Bank of Turkey, a.k.a. TCMB), provides the exchange rate for foreign currencies daily. No real-time data. Historical data can be accessed here.

- 📠 TEİAŞ website provides daily production data and real-time system frequency.
