This is just my opinion but from a UI perspective, it isn't clear to the user that you need to press that link saying 'successfully connected' link on the landing page. I knew to click it because it was a hyperlink, and I recognise that, but older users may not be so tech-savvy! Maybe have a button underneath that says something else like 'Home' or 'Enter' just to make it clearer? I feel as though anchor tags aren't often as clear as buttons (particularly on phone apps) because they just look like text, whereas buttons are kinda begging to be pushed!
