  • Monitoring
    • VictoriaMetrics/influx/prometheus? -> good integration/long-time storage
    • Stats as OpenCMW datasets/properties
  • Remote Administration
    • Allow Starting/Stopping/Reconfiguration of running services
    • Light OpenCMW service or existing orchestration software
    • focus on deployment/reconfiguration not horizontal scaling
    • use systemd api for service abstraction/management?
    • allow mapping of services to servers with specific capabilities (eg specific digitizer, lookup of mapping between "nomenclature of instrumentation" -> "CID of digitizer" -> "Vendor/ProductId of digitizer" in database)
    • configuration files vs database vs interactive
