Could the "highlight manager" window be a side panel? #14
Comments
Furthermore, I can't find a way to move this window. |
The window is movable by dragging the top-bar (it is only a few pixels high, I should upgrade that). The side panel would be possible to do, but sadly only in Firefox as Chrome doesn't have side panel for extensions: So we need to think of a different solution. |
Thank you for your response. This image of the side panel was taken from an Edge window. And I can't move the window on Edge, I've tried. |
I see that the latest version you preparing for the new Firefox Manifest, not sure if v3 affect this issue #14 in a good or bad way. Can't seem to see any article making mention of Side Panel, so information probably hidden away in the official developer documents. |
The current state of the extension, if I'm using it correctly, is to open a new window every time a highlight is made. I think this window occupies a huge portion of the screen. I understand that you can open in it on a new tab, but, as mentioned, every time you make a new highlight this window opens again. It is annoying. In so being, could it be a side panel instead?
