State of the project and plan for 2021

As you may have noticed, the new versions and features are being released very slowly now. I've build multiple addons now and from time to time I have to work on those as well. Plus due to covid situation my office is closed again and working from home is not my cup of coffee...
But I'm still here and I have a huge plans for my speed dial.

My main goal for the near future is to start making some money, because I'm out of savings and with income ~250€ per month (from donations and Patreon) it's not possible to survive in a long term.
If I can get a proper monthly income, I will hire some student to help me out.

So my current goal is to rebuild my server from Scala to TypeScript - this will allow me much easier implementation of server related features. Mostly these:

• groups sharing - mostly for teams
• custom themes sharing
• integration with payment processing services - so you will be able to buy a full year license (maybe even lifetime license)
• user account management (things like deleting account or changing email which I have to do manually now if someone needs)

I'm already working on the server so it should be finished in few weeks.
The addon itself should receive features like:

• automatic thumbnails icons (from 3rd party services)
• full end-to-end encryption of your data
• better themes - based on other addons and similar apps (like those squares in the Windows menu)
• ... and so much more, my todo list is extremely long and has some cool new ideas, I'm really looking forward to implement those
