In the near future there will be a "transformation manager" plugin that will allow to makes easily make datum transformations using ntv2 grids and towgs84 parameters.

The tool will also be an interface for ogr2ogr and gdalwarp: as both programs allow to change output format I leave here this ticket to suggest add the necessary controls.
