What we're after

Following on the back-end research done on proximity search, we need to design the front-end experience and determine the best first iteration that addresses user need and is simple to use.

Related issues

Applicable search systems:

  • AOs
  • MURs
  • ADRs
  • AFs
  • Statutes
  • Global legal resources search

Considerations:

  • May need to explain that this doesn't apply to regulations as that relies on eCFR
  • What functionality is the most valuable to implement on the front-end
  • What guidance do we need to provide on how to use it?

Completion criteria

  • Designs are completed and shared with relevant stakeholders for review (aim for presentation at 1/22 sync meeting)
  • Create follow-up ticket to add proximity by distance search to website UI based on design specifications
