Man könnte darüber nachdenken auch die Knoten der befreundeten WLAN-Initiative "AWMN" in der Karte anzuzeigen (z.B. als extra Layer). Die sind zwar nicht Deutsch aber Freifunk-Nahe.
Hier ist zumindest die API Schnittstelle:

ggf als eigenen Layer plus parameter for den direktaufruf.
