Describe the bug
Desktop app

Environment information:

  • OS: Mac OS X
  • Platform: Darwin 17.4.0 x86_64
  • Software Version: working copy at 5dbf3c28b22dfa1b7dd9505bb21f0e137e53f76b

Steps to Reproduce

  1. make clean
  2. make run
  3. Switch to history tab
  4. Wait 10 minutes

Actual behavior
App GUI does not accept any interaction and becomes unresponsive. Events still logged in the background , hence this is an issue in the GUI.

Expected behavior
App must accept clicks and text input from user .

Related to changes in #295

I am not noticing this any more after merging #306 for #295 . Scheduling for v2 in case problem persists.
