pop!_os 20.10
Flatpak 1.8.2

Reproducing the error:

  • Go to MEGA settings
  • Check "Start on startup"
  • Click apply and close the settings window
  • Go to MEGA settings again, and "Start on startup" is not checked, even though it was checked.

Hi. Thanks for reporting. This should be fixed on upstream side. Autostart already implemented in flatpak via portals https://github.com/flatpak/xdg-desktop-portal/blob/master/data/org.freedesktop.impl.portal.Background.xml. Can you file upstream bug about this please and request this feature? https://github.com/meganz/MEGAsync/issues

Thanks for the response, I think you would be the better person to file this because you understand the exact cause of this.
So I will wait some days. If some days pass by and if that is not filed, I am happy to file.
