I would expect the license of an open source project to be clearly stated on its website. But the only occurrence of "license" I found on http://flintlib.org was an old notice that the license changed to LGPL 2.1+, which is then quite misleading.

Would changing the first sentence from

FLINT is a C library for doing number theory, freely available under the GNU LGPL.

to

FLINT is a C library for doing number theory, freely available under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3 or later.

work?
