my question:
when I try to run nautilus-terminal --install-system, it shows You must run nautilus-terminal as root to perform a system-wide installation., after I used sudo nautilus-terminal --install-system, it then told sudo: nautilus-terminal: command not found

How did you installed Nautilus Terminal? With pip for the current user?

You can try to install the extension for local user only with the following command so it ill not require to use sudo:

python3 -m nautilus_terminal --install-user

Then close the current Nautilus session (nautilus -q) and restart it (nautilus) to load the extension.
