Copied text from the "list"(ordered/unordered) is always pasted from the new line

Steps:

Copy some words from the ordered list
Paste it in another sentance in the ordered list
Observe → text is pasted in the new line
Paste it in the plane text
Observe → text is pasted in the new line

Expected behavior.

Copied text should be pasted into the current line, not in the new line

Actual behavior.

Copied text from the "list"(ordered/unordered) is always pasted from the new line
