List of improvement suggestions for the updated landing page from yesterday's GOATS meeting:

• Add icons next to the links in the Learn section
• Get updated text from @nekrut for the Beyond section
• Accommodate linking to multiple usegalaxy servers from the “Use Galaxy now” button
• Link the Learn More button to a page
• Update colors to more like the Galaxy logo colors
• Reduce the radius of rounded corners on the boxes in the Beyond & Grow sections
• Make boxes in the Beyond section consistent where they all use buttons vs. entire box being clickable
• Vertically split the "popular tutorials" box into 2 boxes, one with a list of popular tutorials and one with a list of upcoming Events

Further changes needed:

Messaging

• Replace "Meet Galaxy - ...." with "Meet Galaxy - a data analysis universe"
• Replace "Go beyond being a user" - with "Galaxy is more than you think". This section should have the following boxes (in this order):
  • "Galaxy is a world-wide community" - keep text as is
  • "Galaxy has 1,000s of tools" - text = "In partnership with [BioConda] and [BioContainers] we provide instant access to vast number of analysis tools"
  • "Galaxy = workflows" = "Create complex workflows and deploy via UI or CLI" .
  • "Galaxy is everything you need to leverage HPC and Clouds" - text = "Distribute different types of computational jobs across any infrastructure using [Pulsar] and [TPV]"
  • "Galaxy for developers: Rapidly put your tools before 1,000 of users" - text ="Planemo, our SDK, automates creation, text, and deployment of tools, workflows, and interactive tutorials."
  • "Galaxy makes learning fun" - text = "[Galaxy Training Network] has 100s of community vetted tutorials"
• Replace "Grow with Galaxy" - "Galactic pulse"
• Add the following to the footer after "...and 1929694" and before "usegalaxy.eu": "Computational resources are provided by the Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem (ACCESS-CI), Texas Advanced Computing Center, and the JetStream2 scientific cloud - public computational resources supported by NSF."

General styling

• radius of corners of big divs (Recent publications etc.) need be much smaller = same as in buttons.
• remove underlining from "Learn" buttons ("Tutorials" etc.)
• replace "Exemplar use cases" with "Research highlights"

It may be tricky, but maybe we can use subproject logos in "Go beyond" boxes. Not critical

side note: @nekrut setting priority to "high" for his change request to be more inclusive with the computational sources on the citation in the footer.
