There are lots of tickets for individual terms, but there does not seem to be a general ticket for this proposed overhaul.

It would be useful to address this with high priority because a lot of annotation fixes will be required, and these will continue to accumulate while the terms exist.

For instance , Our community continue to use them:

It takes a long time to correct these annotation and explain why the terms are in GO if they should not be used.
For example this annotation should be to MF terms and "regulation of endocytosis" (process) , causally upstream of SPCC584.17 (an arrestin family ubiquitin ligase adaptor) rather than regulation of the MF/activity.
