Custom setting to show date as absolute

Why is the date "approximate"? Can this be changed somehow?

A tooltip should already be available on each of them.

The choice could be let to each user via a personal setting parameter (this has to be implemented, but the core for personal settings is already in place, so it should not be too difficult).

I added an hidden custom user setting DISPLAY_ABSOLUTE_DATE. Once the code will be deployed, I'll manually enable it for your account.
