Problem Statement

Per customer conversation: "What i find is teammates looks at Sentry (or any tool i give them) and their first question is, will this make my job easier?

Then when we attempt to build out a relevant search or query, frustration/confusion can set in and they just walk away. But once teammates know how to use, it will end up working just fine for them. Once past that hurdle of building relevant searches, productivity is dramatically sped up, but that hurdle exists"

Solution Brainstorm

Leveraging AI or search completion can help get rid of the initial friction described above.

Make it more intuitive to query traces, spans, etc by letting users ask a question in natural language and translating it to the correct query behind the scenes. Perhaps as the question is being typed, a subprocess such as AI can auto-fill or suggest the completed question.

This could certainly live in Discover instead, or as well.
