Hide the titlebar icon

Hi,
This is a super minor petty thing but i hate emojis :D I'm trying to find a way to hide the ghost emoji in the title bar

I've had a good look through the docs and can't see a way to do this without hiding the entire title bar, which I don't want to do.

Am I being silly? Is there a way to do this?

If I remember correctly, the ghost emoji is just set with title:

# The title Ghostty will use for the window. This will force the title of the
# window to be this title at all times and Ghostty will ignore any set title
# escape sequences programs (such as Neovim) may send.

# the value. For example, `title = " "`. This effectively hides the title.

Gave that a go, setting it to " " removed the title text but leaves me with a folder icon instead lol:

Setting it to title = seems to give me the last command run (plus an icon):

The folder icon is the macOS proxy icon. If you don’t want it you can disable it with https://ghostty.org/docs/config/reference#macos-titlebar-proxy-icon

Ahhh its shell integration, so doing:

shell-integration = none
title = " "

fixes it, now i just need to understand what else i lose by disabling shell integration!

You can set shell-integration-features = cursor,sudo,no-title or just shell-integration-features = no-title to keep all the shell integration features but disable the title icon.
