fish shell - ability to "ctrl-r" history search with fzf doesn't work, nor does ctrl-c to cancel processes/new line

I'm on MacOS 15.2

Here is my config:

All of these keybindings work and I don't have anything overiding ctrl-r and ctrl-c. Anyone having the same issue?

Note: I turned off Karabiner tried it, and it doesn't work.
