Exiting alt screen puts cursor in wrong location #4500

I can see it clearly in the video but I'm unable to reproduce this. I tried on both macOS and Linux with bash, zsh, and fish. All placed the cursor back in the correct place. Do you have any other tips on how to get this to happen? |

I'm able to reproduce consistently, Arch + Gnome + Bash. No specific steps other than resizing to larger than original before hitting ESC to go back to input.
