"Dead" processes hang the whole terminal when trying to close the tab

So I got only one easy way to reproduce this easily so here it goes.

• Install reptyr
• Start a process (htop or something, doesn't really matter)
• ps the pid of the process
• reptyr -T $pid from another tab
• try to close the original htop tab
• be in a awe that ghostty hangs completly

Didn't yet get to debug what the problem is thought I share the problem at least
