Custom font not applying and get spaced

I tried applying a custom font on my laptop but for some reason it jut broke like so :

On top of that, the exact same config file I tried to use is the exact same one I'm using on my desktop, where it works perfectly
Here is the config file :

clipboard-read = allow
window-vsync = false
theme = catppuccin-mocha
cursor-style = bar

font-size = 12
font-family = Monocraft Nerd Font

gtk-tabs-location = bottom

Are you sure the font file is the exact same font file on both computers?

Yep, installed them both the exact same way and using the font anywhere else works

Could you post the specs of both computers? OS version and such?

ofc, bith are on the same OS with the same kernel version
OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Kernel: Linux 6.12.8-arch1-1
Both are also using KDE 6.2.5 and using Wayland

The only thing I can think of is that there are some different config somewhere on the laptop that's not present on the desktop.

It doesn't make sense to me that both computers are identical, but the visual appearance is different

Same, I always keep them up to date and sync my config between them through a git repo so they are identical, genuinely confused rn
