I am able to install via the Universal binary from web but I'd like to manage this from the Nixpkgs-unstable if possible. (Alternatively I can probably use the homebrew to install as well)

Ghostty 1.0.0 was incorrectly added with darwin support in nixpkgs, someone went ahead and repackaged the universal binary dmg without the original maintainers go ahead.

This lead to some build issues and will end up causing other issues like with sparkle (auto updates that you cannot disable at the moment) for people who ended up using the package. The maintainers correctly marked it as broken and reverted it since it should have never shown up with darwin support in the first place (beyond using nix to manage the homebrew install)

There are people attempting to get darwin to work sucessfully but xcode does not like the nix sandbox
