zsh history gone

Is there any chance that Ghostty wipes the history file? recently, I started working on an old project and noticed my history was gone. I didn’t think it was related to Ghostty at first, but today a friend also noticed the same thing. After checking the time of the first install and the first command in the history, it seems like they might be connected.

There is a chance shell integration could be causing some issue but it shouldnt be deleting the .history file
