Cursor disappearing in helix

I see an issue with my cursor when using helix: when I'm in an indented block, if I press backspace, the cursor correctly moves to the left, but turn invisible:

• before pressing backspace

• after pressing backspace

I tried with helix in WezTerm, and this behavior doesn't show.
I also tried nvim with Ghostty, and this behavior doesn't show either.

I'm running Ghostty on Mac Sequoia 15.2, installed via .dmg

After the cursor becomes invisible, do you mind checking the terminal inspector to see if something asked Ghostty to hide the cursor?

Hi ! Thank you for following up.
I don't see any changes in the inspector, and the cursor_visible entry stays ticked when the cursor disappears.

Also, to complete my original report:

• if I have multiple levels of indent, the cursor disappears as soon as I press backspace the first time, and stays hidden even if I go further left. It reappears as soon as I reach back to the original indent level.
• when the cursor is hidden, if I start typing, it shows "on the right" of the character (see attached images) but disappears again if I erase the text
