Good morning!

I can't find any kind of documentation about this tool, so I would like to know if it is possible to harvest the metadata stored in another catalog.

Wondering if I could harvest this one:

https://data.jrc.ec.europa.eu/dataset?sort=sort_criteria+desc&tags=emergency

(sorry, totally missed this ticket!)

Looks like a CKAN instance. A custom CKAN importer would do what you want here, which basically:

cycles through each metadata record from a CKAN API endpoint
harvests to the geocatalogo backend
