Hi!
Is there any plan to update all the styles to OS X Yosemite?

Hi @gunta ,
yup I have plans on doing this.
I will set up a new repo within the next days. Are you interested in contributing?
Cheers Bijan

I just setup the repo. I thought about making the boilerplate css only and to leave out angularjs.

Hi! Yes I'm interested though I don't know if I will have time.

I have some ideas are:

  • Separate all the components in separate css (ie. like this)
  • Use "default" cursor instead of "pointer" so it feels more like a native app (like Topcoat behaviour)
  • Use angular and angular-ui for all the interactivity.
  • The css should be easy to use without any javascript and with other libraries (like React)
  • Remove jQuery dependency.
  • Try to use as much as css class names in Bootstrap 3 as possible. Ideally it could be almost implemented as a bootstrap theme.

And maybe the most important one:

  • Make 2 similar but separate themes: a "yosemite native" and an "original" one.
The reason for the "original" one is that when you make a "native looking application" it might look good only on that OS version, but lets say Apple releases another new OS, the CSS will look outdated. This is also a problem when targeting OS like Windows/Linux; for that cases you would like to use a bit more general "original" theme.
  • I for once like something like this Bootstrap flat theme.

What do you think?

Update: I am currently on OSX 10.9. As soon as I migrate to El Capitan I will start a new branch with El Capitan GUI.
