Support for MatchingEngineIndex management?

I am checking this documentation to get started creating an environment for testing Similarity Search.

Are these options available for node? are they comming? Noticed the Rest option is available but wanted to make sure if it is planning to have same features with the python SDK.

The final object is to try uploading documentation to a bucket to index it with the stream option and start asking questions on top of it.
