Check if you have a software restriction preventing the installer from being launched. Otherwise it could be an external network issue or perhaps a problematic password (though I think you see a message about that if so). |

Hello,
I am trying to update my MacBook Air M1 from 13.6.1 to Sonoma. Sadly it doesn't work, and it gets stuck when trying to install it.
This are the last logs on the log file:
2023-11-30 15:00:07 | v31.0 | [erase-install] Sending quit message to dialog log (/var/tmp/dialog.Yx4)
curl: (3) URL rejected: Malformed input to a URL function
2023-11-30 15:00:07 | v31.0 | [get_default_dialog_args] Invoking fullscreen dialog
2023-11-30 15:00:08 | v31.0 | [launch_startosinstall] This is the startosinstall command that will be used:
2023-11-30 15:00:08 | v31.0 | [launch_startosinstall] /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sonoma.app/Contents/Resources/startosinstall --pidtosignal 1114 --agreetolicense --nointeraction --allowremoval --forcequitapps --stdinpass --user mcWERK
2023-11-30 15:00:08 | v31.0 | [launch_startosinstall] Launching startosinstall...
File Doesn't Exist, Will Create: /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.github.grahampugh.erase-install.startosinstall.plist
2023-11-30 15:00:08 | v31.0 | [erase-install] Sending password to startosinstall
Can anyone help? Thanks!
(there is nothing like zscaler installed onto the device)
