I suspect there's a mismatch between the version of GE used in this demo repo and what you've got installed. This repo is from the 0.8.x series of GE, and we haven't updated it yet because a new airflow integration example is almost ready.

Could I suggest you hop over to the https://greatexpectations.io/slack page and ask for an update on airflow integration there?
