I think everyone in the community and new GRIN users would appreciate if grin.mw has a TOR version (onion link) of the static site or even the forum. Would the CC consider this?

Create a grin-wishlist repo under grincc github account, to track requests from community.
(I have compiled one (https://github.com/stakervali/grin-wishlist) based on wishlist on official repo mimblewimble/grin-pm#385 ).

@2ro Can you maybe provide here, or better here: https://forum.grin.mw/ some of the reasons why you think a hidden tor address would be good to have. In this way we can discuss it publicly. We already discussed it during the CC meeting, and yes we are open to it, but we wonder about the added privacy benefits or other benefits.
I mean you can already to grin.mw or the forum via tor, which should completely hide your tracks except that you need an email address. Also that is solvable, e.g. use protonmail.com and only connect via their tor endpoint, so your IP will in no way be link-able.
