Just to clarify, alt-tabbing works fine but minimizing the window does not.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. What's happening is that when you unminimize the Sandbox, it sends a “redraw” message to each window, which the Browser interprets as meaning that it was minimized.

I can't really think of any easy way to fix this, so I guess just try and avoid minimizing the Sandbox? At least it's polite enough to warn you the first time.
