Is this version legit ? Latest version reported here is from 2016 (v2.4.0.55)

As just posted on Chocolatey, v2.4.0.20181230 is a repackaged version of v2.4.0 and that provides a workaround for #15. So the source code is the same for both versions (just have a look to the installer hash for both, it's the same).

Regarding the v2.4.0.55 you mention, it is the one included in the offical v2.4.0 as released in GitHub and the latest version: https://github.com/gurnec/HashCheck/releases.
