It should be accessible to get script info in an OpenType/TrueType font. See GSUB and GPOS tables.

You could maybe use https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/go-text/[email protected]/font/opentype/tables#Layout

Do you have a more precise use case in mind ?

When we have m languages (locales) and n font files, we want to choose fonts to render texts in an appropriate order. If the locales are Japanese and English in this order, we prefer a font which has Jpan over a font which doesn't have it.
