Hey, nice idea, but I don't understand how to use it.

Do you not have the folder structure here? How do you add assets and where? How do you publish the project? Where do you add the meta data for mobile responsiveness etc?

Hello, and thanks for your interest;

Currently, just like the web version of Twine 2 itself, the current version of Twine-Monogatari is not capable of hosting the images by itself, meaning you will have to host the images and music somewhere that's reachable from the Internet as an URL.

As for publishing, it currently does not have an easy way to do that; you might want to try using your browser's "Save as... -> Web Page, Complete", but it won't work correctly on every case. There were plans to implement a more convenient tool, but nothing has been implemented, yet: #11

Similarly, it currently has no option to add metadata; if you manage to save the page, you might edit the saved HTML file for that.

Thanks for the work :)

That are some downsides though. Why not use Monogatari natively then?

Using Monogatari natively requires a little bit more of technical skill, but, yes, if you take that extra step, it's better.

I see.

I like the graphical overview of Twine to lay out branches, but I also want it to run smooth.

Maybe if you do some sort of export tool to Monogatari?

That's essentially what the tool mentioned in #11 would have been able to do.

Noice!
Are you still going to do it?

Maybe some day. Not a bad idea.
