As explained in aws/aws-sdk-go-v2#2449 (comment), all modules of the AWS SDK must be upgraded at the same time, including indirect dependencies.

Currently Dependabot only updates some of the direct dependencies, leaving us in an incompatible state that can cause problems (#826).

#860 ignores Dependabot upgrades for the AWS SDK, but we need to come up with a proper fix.
