How to get this working on the HTC Vive? #4
Comments
press space bar (or 'v' or 'enter') to trigger VR mode. |
Doesn't work. Nothing happens. |
Are you on the latest version of VR Chromium? Do you see headset tracking
at all on the screen when you move the headset around?

I tried VR Chromium, and it does come up in the HMD but it's very very jittery, with a lot of ghosting flicking. On screen it's rock solid, but in the HMD it's jittery. |
Strange. I haven't seen this behavior, so it's a little hard for me to
debug.

When I tried with firefox nightly and the htc vine on windows, firefox became unresponsive. |
Same issue as King42, hypvr displays in the 2-frame mode until it gets position tracking, at which point firefox crashes, becomes unresponsive, and the page goes black. |
Is this with the gh-pages (h3.hypernom.com) branch or a local copy from master?

Quick update - I've been attempting to debug this. It's puzzling because it throws no obvious console error and h2xe.hypernom.com seems to work on Firefox with very similar code.

That sounds like an infinite loop is being thrown then, in my limited
programming experience.

Would it be helpful if generate some firefox crash reports and send them? Like I said, the crash only seemed to happened when the headset started outputting tracking data. |
There is no button or any obvious way to get this application to display in the vive HMD. I tried with Firefox nightly and Chromium. Any ideas?
