Unable to add profile picture from Firefox

Unable to create and save a profile picture from Firefox browser, but can do it from Chrome.

I attached a video recording of what is going on when first trying to add a profile pic from Firefox. It comes up as black and if saved, remains black. In Chrome it works as expected.
