+1 on this

No business using kubernetes and self-hosting this loves seeing a directory of plain YAML. A bespoke Helm chart is the right approach here to tie everything together.

I've made one and would be willing to upstream it, except that we're facing this issue: #17

If we can resolve this, we'll upstream the chart.
