The main branch is broken. The fix was never merged since several months, despite a number of recently reported issues. If that is the intention, then a disclaimer in readme can save folks hours of wasted effort. Happy to send a PR (just looking for a confirmation).

I fear it might be, haven't heard a peep from Chris in a few months. If someone wants to take over a fork I'm happy to tidy up my stuff that we are using into a proper PR: #215

Hey, all. Really sorry for being MIA here and for all the time wasted.

Hedron joined Google DeepMind and it's taking a bit to get this project moved so I'm allowed to continue to work on it. I know that's frustrating (for me, too!) but I'm working to get it to a good place. On the flip side, I promise this isn't abandoned!
