Unable to import multiple all day, same day calendar entries correctly

The problem

In local calendar integration I am unable to import multiple same day all day events. Instead if there is an all day event already present it will add it to the next available day. The calendar.ics file is saved in .storage and renamed to overwrite the old one.

The ICS file supplied returns "success" with some warnings via:

https://icalendar.org/validator.html

It imports in my calendar on PopOS without issue and shows multiple all day events as expected.
