I save backups on a NAS.
The storage is integrated in HomeAssistant as CIFS "backup" storage.
Restart the Home Assistant machine, so not just "restart" in HomeAssistant but actually reboot the machine.
CIFS storage is not available because the NAS is also being rebooted.
Home Assistant reports that the storage has failed.
Click on "Fix problem". Storage is available for new backups.
Backups already stored on the NAS are not shown.
Restarting Home Assistant does not help. Only a complete reboot of the HomeAssistant machine.
OK, I understand that CIFS Share should be available when Home Assistant starts and can behave like this. However, I think that this behavior is not planned.
Another example:
Create a backup on a local HomeAssistant storage device.
Delete the backup file from the machine, e.g. using the "Samba share" add-on.
The backup will then continue to be displayed in HomeAssistant. Attempting to delete the backup in the interface results in an error message.
Restarting HA is not enough, only restarting the entire machine helps.
