Sometimes I check the add new integrations page to see if there is something I have missed that I could configure in home assistant.
When adding a new integration from a phone this is what I see:
At this point, I browse the list looking for things I know or I may want and if I find something calling my attention I try to add it to see what happens. For instance, when I see the "local IP address" integration I think it may be something I could use. Let's touch it and see what that is!
When I click on add I'm taken to the integration configuration page that asks me for some settings. Sometimes I figure out what I have to put there, sometimes I just go back and most times I would like to be able to get a short description of what can the integration do and a link to the documentation page for the integration. An example of how little context is given:
I find it would be useful to have such short description or link to the docs somewhere in the integration configuration page to have a bit more context. I wouldn't mind to have an (affiliated?) link to the manufacturer's website to buy it.
I know I can check the docs and I usually do. I just wonder if the path from the config to the docs would be easier.
